Microsoft (MSFT -0.4%) and Kroger (KR -0.9%) announce a collaboration with Kroger piloting a data-driven connected store experience using Microsoft’s Azure.
The two pilot stores have a smart tech system powered by Azure and IoT sensors with features including EDGE Shelf, which features digital displays in front of products that can display prices, promotions, and nutritional information.
