As part of its quest to focus on customers Home Depot is moving its CIO into a newly-created role focused on customer experience technology.
CIO Matt Carey is taking on the role of EVP of customer experience and Fahim Siddiqui will serve as CIO, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Carey has been with the company since 2008 and Siddiqui has served as SVP of IT since 2018.
«We created a new role that reaffirms our commitment to make shopping at Home Depot a truly interconnected, easy experience for our customers,» Paul Mayer, a spokesperson, told the news outlet.
