Neiman Marcus taps fashion vet for new merchandising role

Neiman Marcus Group is creating the new executive position of fashion and lifestyle director.

The luxury retailer is appointing Lisa Aiken as its first fashion and lifestyle director. The role is part of the retailer’s larger merchandising and planning team transformation, reporting to Lana Todorovich, president and chief merchandising officer of Neiman Marcus Group.

In her most recent role, Aiken served as fashion and buying director at Moda Operandi. Earlier in her career, she held executive positions at Net-a-Porter and MyTheresa, Beginning Aug. 9, Aiken will head up the Neiman Marcus fashion and lifestyle office.

Aiken will act as a fashion-forward expert to identify emerging brands, and discover new trends and services across the fashion and lifestyle space. In this position, she will collaborate with brand partners to expand exclusive partnerships, such as the recent Prada Outdoor immersive “Coast” experience and Loewe Paula’s Ibiza installations.
