The nation’s largest retail and entertainment complex kicked off the new year with 10 new additions to its lineup.

The 5.6 million-sq.-ft. Mall of America features more than 520, retail stores and restaurants and a host of attractions, including Nickelodeon Universe and a 7-acre indoor theme park. Its newest tenants range from national and global brands to locally-owned operations.

Here is a listing of Mall of America’s 10 new tenants.
Aland:
Aland is a fashion brand originating from Korea that features a variety of fashion cultures through their multi-brand store, featuring nearly 700 brands. The assortment includes clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty products.

Arula: Arula was founded to raise the bar on the mid- and plus-size shopping experience and erase industry standards. From the creators of Altar’d State, Arula seeks to inspire and empower consumers through fashion and community while supporting a mission of standing out for good in the world.

Beard Papas: Since 1999, Beard Papa’s has been baking the world’s best cream puffs. Beginning in Japan, it has expanded to over 400 stores in 15 countries. Guests can customize their cream puff treat by choosing from a variety of different shells and cream fillings.

Dauren Worldwide: Local founder, Brandon Barnes’ philosophy for Dauren is “a group of people working together,” symbolizing the unifying embrace of all people and their humanity. Dauren’s line of clothing is a contemporary offering influenced by streetwear and inspired by the sport of rowing.

Draper James: Founded by Reese Witherspoon, Draper James is a classic, American lifestyle brand inspired by Reese’s Southern roots and named after her grandparents. Launched in May 2015, the brand offers ready-to-wear, accessories and home accents.

Duck Donuts: Duck Donuts specializes in warm, and made-to-order donuts. Starting with a vanilla cake donut, guests can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles.

Global Braids: Global Braids has been serving the Twin Cities since 2000. The company specializes in natural hair and helping clients transition to natural hair products.

Juicebox: Locally owned, Juicebox serves up six different flavors of refreshing fruit beverages. The concept was founded by two mothers who wanted to create an opportunity for their children in college to earn some extra money during summer break.

Ridemakerz: Rikemakerz invites guests, or “customizers”, into the ultimate car customizing experience where they can build a one-of-a-kind Ridez toy car. Between body styles and colors, rims and tires, lights and sounds, accessories and decals, there are more than 649 million possible combinations, not including individual decal placement.

The Neighborhood: The Neighborhood provides a locally influenced shopping experience for the customer with merchandise reflective of the different neighborhoods throughout Minneapolis/St. Paul. It proudly celebrates MSP’s rich culture, the Minnesotan lifestyle, and locally made food and gifts in addition to exclusively designed products.
