Canada: Saks Off & CF Galeries d’Anjou

The space, once occupied by Target, in the west wing of the CF Galeries d’Anjou, is today renewed! Like many, the departure of the American giant left a huge vacancy in the shopping center, which had just undergone a revitalization cure in 2013.

The new west wing is thus divided into three parts. On one side is the first Saks Off 5th of the Greater Montreal area, with a space of nearly 30,000 square feet, and the premises has, in addition to an entrance inside the mall, its own exterior entrance. There are many brand name accessories, such as Gucci, Valentino, Dior and other big names in fashion for men, women and there’s even a children’s section! All for a fraction of the original price. A vast shoe section, which takes up nearly half of the store, is also a part.

Winners also moved in, with nearly 29,000 square feet, including everything we know about Winners, in addition to a Runway section (pieces by great designers). Because of its size, the aerated layout makes it possible to move through the sections easily. Winners is currently booming in the region, as another new Winners branch will open on August 8th at Complexe Desjardins, located in the downtown area.

In the autumn, it will also mark the return of the Old Navy chain, which had left the CF Galeries d’Anjou a few years ago, in 2011 to be more precise. Added to this are some new shops here and there through the mall. We think of Bonlook, who has just settled there, or Naturalizer, who has just moved to a new location with a complete rebranding of their image! All these new additions make Galeries D’Anjou more and more a must visit for the east of Montreal.
