Metro Supply Chain Group Inc. («Metro») today announced the launch of «Metro Logistique à Domicile», a service that provides efficient home delivery of appliances and other large or heavy purchases. From centres in Montreal and Quebec City, Metro Logistique à Domicile will serve the delivery needs of appliance and home furnishings retailers (including Rona) throughout Quebec and into Ottawa.
Metro Logistique à Domicile is the Quebec region installment of the company’s new «Metro To Home» label, which CEO Chiko Nanji describes as a set of services that leverage logistics infrastructure and technology to solve common last-mile delivery problems.
