Innovación: Orange France opens new megastore
Orange, a French telecommunications company has announced the opening of a megastore, which is claimed to be the largest of its kind in France. With 2000 m2 spread over four floors, including 1000 m2 commercial surface, a workshop of after-sales service and a vast plateau of 350 m2 equipped with modular screens to accommodate events, like concerts, presentations of new products, or even fashion shows, the megastore opens in the face of the Paris Opera and the Apple Store on Tuesday, November 8th.
Inaugurated by Stéphane Richard, the CEO of Orange, this place bathed in white and colored lights is expected to attract 800 000 visitors per year. A true flagship, this will support the fleet of 43 and soon to be opened 71 Smart Stores for Orange in France this year. Fabienne Dulac, the executive Director of Orange-France said: “It of the largest store of its kind in France, you can do anything: touch, test, and compare all 800 different products. Of the 150 people who work here, 23 are specially trained coaches to meet all customer profiles, geeks or novices…”
They expect 1,000 to 1,500 visitors per day, from Monday to Saturday, from 10: 00 to 20: 00. Orange France posted good results in Q3. 11.1 million Customers on fixed line including 1.3 million on the fiber. It is 4.2% year on year. On the side of mobile, Orange has 29.8 million lines.
