Reachify Launches New Intelligence Technology Platform Helping Retailers Select the Right Enterprise Software Companies
Helps Retailers Navigate Growing $620 Billion Enterprise Software Market
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Reachify (www.Reachify.com) today announced the launch of a new, innovative technology platform that provides the necessary intelligence to help retailers make sense of the overcrowded, complex $620 billion enterprise technology marketplace where neither buyers, nor sellers are able to easily find each other.
“In the same way that LinkedIn has harnessed the input of millions of individuals to help HR teams find the right talent, Reachify is harnessing the knowledge of the entire retail community to help companies find their optimal technology solutions”
Leading retailers and brands including J. Crew, Serena & Lily and vineyard vines are already using the new website to evaluate technology providers. The company is backed by Beanstalk Ventures, the retail technology venture capital fund launched by Ken Seiff, founder of Bluefly, co-founder of Poppin and former EVP of Brooks Brothers.
The company was founded by Cindy Lincks, a seasoned retail leader and technology expert who brings a unique combination of expertise, having worked on all three sides of the marketplace. She worked in retail as the former Vice President of eCommerce at Brooks Brothers, worked on the enterprise vendor side at IBM and on the agency side at Ogilvy & Mather.
“Selecting the right enterprise software has never been more complicated than it is today,” said Cindy Lincks, Reachify’s CEO and Founder. “Individuals from almost every level and every department are selecting software, making it hard to gain alignment within companies. And, since system integrations and dependencies have increased, the stakes and risks for these million dollar decisions are higher. As a result, better intelligence is being demanded to minimize these risk factors.”
The platform can answer questions such as: what is the full list of companies that solve a specific problem; which solution providers are my competitors using; is this technology compatible with my company’s existing systems; and who are the best people with whom to reference check the software. Because this platform is free for retailers, the community is already working together to contribute the information and insight to help retailers make even more thoughtful and thorough decisions.
“In the same way that LinkedIn has harnessed the input of millions of individuals to help HR teams find the right talent, Reachify is harnessing the knowledge of the entire retail community to help companies find their optimal technology solutions,” said Ken Seiff, Managing Partner of Beanstalk Ventures. Mr. Seiff continued, “The web has successfully used the power of crowds to solve complex information needs in the past, such as Wikipedia and Yelp, and Reachify has finally bridged the information gap around enterprise software that has stood in the way of innovation in the retail industry for too long.”
Reachify is the first evaluation platform for enterprise technology, connecting retail executives with the right technology solution providers by harnessing the power of the retail community to provide deep insights and deliver real-time intelligence. The result is a comprehensive data set that accurately reflects all of the players in the rapidly evolving retail enterprise technology industry. Reachify helps brands discover the optimal partner for a specific need from amongst thousands of vendors. It also enables enterprise technology vendors to showcase their services in a clear and easy-to-discover manner, respond to decision makers while they are in market and ultimately win new business
