PetSmart.com is now providing same-day scheduled delivery to 17 metro areas via Deliv, a logistic deliver provider.
PetSmart customers can now select specific delivery times in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle and Chicago, according to a press release.
“As the trusted partner to pet parents and pets in every moment of their lives, we are continually looking for ways to make the shopping experience easier and more convenient for our customers,” said Eran Cohen, chief customer experience officer, said in a press release.
“With Deliv’s scheduled delivery capability, our customers can select where, when and how they want their products delivered. From same-day delivery to a scheduled timeframe two days out and with a multi-hour delivery window, Deliv’s focus and expertise in tailored delivery service is evident in its flexibility to accommodate our customers’ personal schedules.”
PetSmart has also launched a new website boasting what it calls a “commerce-meets-content experience.” The site is focused on letting pet parents shop how, when and where they wish, according to a press release.
“We are thrilled to launch the completely re-engineered PetSmart.com site, which offers a range of best-in-class features that allow pet parents to shop and engage with us whenever and wherever they wish,” said Cohen, in the release. “Our omnichannel strategy is aimed at giving pet parents options tailored to their needs and desires. We look forward to seeing their response to the new site with its new user experience and commerce-meets-content approach, as well as to our expanded and convenient home delivery options, which capitalize on our extensive store network for same-day and scheduled delivery.”
